About Lexington and The HairMax LaserComb®

The HairMax LaserComb® was designed and developed in Australia and is manufactured in the USA under strict quality oriented standards. It was developed to provide laser therapy for baldness or thinning hair in men, in the convenience of their own home. The HairMax LaserComb® is also patented in the USA, Australia, China, Korea with additional patents pending around the world.

Located in Boca Raton, Florida, Lexington International, LLC. was established in 2000 to develop and promote a revolutionary hair care product,  the HairMax LaserComb®. Maintaining a commitment to quality control with friendly, accessible customer service  is of primary importance to Lexington International.  

Our founding director, Henry Pearl was a pioneer in the use of laser technology at a leading skin and hair care clinic and research center in Sydney, Australia from as early as 1986.  

In Australia, we developed and sold a single laser probe for the hair, which we have been selling to our clients for self-care as a convenient laser treatment for baldness since the 90's. This was the starting point for the idea to produce a LaserComb for personal use. The average sale price was AUD$2000. Client satisfaction was significant. 

The energy parameters we chose for use in the HairMax LaserComb® are the result of years of observing and analyzing the effects of lasers and laser treatment for baldness on thousands of individual cases. This is supported by our research program, as well as our ongoing study of related clinical trials of hair lasers around the world.

There have been over 3,500 positive scientific studies of Laser PhotoTherapy (Low Level Laser Therapy) published internationally to date. In 2003, an independent report by the Hair and Scalp Clinic of Clearwater, Florida was published in a peer reviewed medical journal. This landmark study demonstrated the correlation between HairMax LaserComb use and positive benefits to users. Furher,  FDA submitted Clinical Studies have shown the LaserComb to be a clinically proven laser treatment for baldness, thinning hair and hair regrowth.

From nearly two decades of research and development in Sydney, Australia, the directors of Lexington International were able to engineer the astonishing success of Laser PhotoTherapy for hair into a product that is affordable and convenient for home use, the HairMax LaserComb®.  Lexington International is considered the pioneer of laser therapy for baldness and has continued to grow and advance to a 90% success rate. The HairMax LaserComb® has been cleared for marketing by the  FDA  and has been clinically proven to promote hair growth and treat Androgenetic alopecia. Results can be seen in as little as 8 weeks.

A Personal Story

As one of the Directors of the company, I had my first introduction to laser therapy for baldness in 1999, at our founder’s Laser Hair Clinic.  At that time, I was 35 years old and had already been experiencing hair loss for five years.  I had tried everything from topical solutions (which I found to be very inconvenient and messy – my hair looked worse than ever!) to vitamin supplements.  Nothing worked.  Then I heard about Laser Therapy.  Laser Photo-Therapy, as it is referred to in the medical community, is a safe, effective therapy to treat hair loss without any reported side effects.
 
Soon after I started laser treatments at the Sydney Hair Clinic, my hair became thicker and fuller, my hair loss subsided and I re-grew a significant amount of lost hair. I also experienced a dramatic improvement in the condition of my hair and my dandruff also subsided.  I was so amazed at the results that I began a working relationship with the founder of the Laser Hair Clinic, who was a pioneer in the use of Laser Photo-Therapy for hair.  The idea of the HairMax LaserComb® was born. We joined efforts to develop a prototype of an affordable hand-held laser therapy device for baldness treatment so everyone could experience the same exciting results that I had experienced.  After several years of research, design and development, our efforts resulted in the HairMax LaserComb®.
